Overview

What we build for you

A marketplace only works when other people can sell on it smoothly, and that is harder to build than a single store. Sellers have to sign up and get verified, list products to your standards, receive orders for only their items and get paid correctly after your commission. Run all of that on spreadsheets and it breaks once more than a handful of sellers join.

We build multi-vendor marketplaces with the mechanics you know from Amazon, Flipkart or Etsy, under your own brand: seller onboarding, one shared catalogue, split orders, commissions, payouts and reviews. You decide who can sell, what they can list and what you earn on each sale.

The same foundation works for a B2C niche such as handicrafts, furniture or organic produce, and for a B2B platform where buyers source in bulk from verified suppliers. We recommend launching narrow, with one category or region, and adding features once sellers and buyers are active.

Ideal for

  • Founders launching a niche marketplace
  • B2B platforms connecting buyers and suppliers
  • Artisan, handloom and handicraft collectives
  • Retailers opening their store to other brands
  • City or regional marketplaces for local sellers

Features

Features included

Every feature is adjusted to how your business works. Add what you need and skip what you don't.

Seller onboarding and KYC

Sellers sign up, add tax IDs such as PAN and GSTIN plus bank details, and go live once you approve them.

Listing approval

Review new products before they go live, with category-specific fields so every listing looks consistent.

Split orders

A cart with items from several sellers becomes separate sub-orders, each packed, shipped and tracked by its seller.

Commission rules

Set commission by category or seller, add fixed fees per order, and see your earnings on every sale.

Seller payouts

Payouts on a settlement cycle you choose, released after the return window, with a clear statement for each seller.

Seller storefronts

Every seller gets a shareable shop page with their logo, products, policies and reviews.

Returns and disputes

Buyers raise returns per item, sellers respond, and your team resolves disputes from the admin panel.

Product and seller reviews

Buyers review both products and sellers, so good sellers stand out and weak ones are easy to spot.

Shipping options

Sellers use their own courier or book pickups through an integrated shipping aggregator from their panel.

Marketplace reports

Sales by seller and category, commission earned, pending payouts and GST TCS figures for your accountant.

FAQ

Questions about the multi-vendor marketplace

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly and we'll reply on WhatsApp or by email.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can you build a marketplace like Amazon or Flipkart?
Yes, for the parts that make a marketplace work: seller accounts, one catalogue, split orders, commissions, payouts and reviews, all under your brand. Large platforms also run their own delivery fleets and recommendation systems, but you do not need those on day one. A shipping aggregator and simple top-seller lists cover the start, and you can add more as traffic grows.
How do seller payouts work?
Buyers pay into your account through a gateway that supports split settlements, such as Razorpay Route, Cashfree or Stripe Connect. Your commission is kept, and each seller's share is released on your schedule, typically after the return window closes, with a statement they can download.
How does GST work on a marketplace?
As the operator you may have to collect TCS under GST on sales made through your platform, and invoices are usually issued in each seller's name. The system stores every seller's GSTIN and produces seller-wise sales and TCS reports, and your CA can confirm the exact rules for your setup. If your marketplace operates outside India, the reports can be set up for VAT or sales tax instead.
Can we onboard the first sellers ourselves?
Yes. Your team can create seller accounts and upload their catalogues in bulk from a spreadsheet, so the marketplace opens with real products on the shelves. Public seller registration can be switched on whenever you are ready.
Can sellers manage their shop from a phone?
Yes. The seller dashboard works in any mobile browser, so sellers can add products, update stock and accept orders on the go. A dedicated seller app for Android and iOS is available as an add-on.
What does it cost to build a multi-vendor marketplace?
Pricing depends on how sellers are paid (manual payouts or automated split settlements), how many categories need their own product fields, and whether seller and buyer mobile apps are part of the first launch. We scope this with you and share a fixed quote before development begins.
